Shealy is only 30 years old and has shown power in the minors hitting 10 home-runs in a little over 200 at bats though his average is around .240. The Orioles have gotten little production out of Atkins, Lugo, Izturis and Scott Moore. So why not cut one of these guys and put Shealy at first daily and Wigginton can play second daily.
